The Forum's 100-strong membership comprises world class technical, business and government leaders from EMEA, Asia and the Americas who are passionate about creating a revolution in wireless communications based on reconfigurable radio.  Forum members span commercial, defense and civil government organizations at all levels of the wireless value chain and include service providers, operators, manufacturers, developers, regulatory agencies, and academia.   SDR Forum is the only organization in the world dedicated to serving the industry's needs through advocacy, opportunity development, commercialization and education.

Call for Presentations - 2009 European Reconfigurable Radio Technologies Workshop

The SDR Forum announces the Call for Presentations for 2009 European Reconfigurable Radio Technologies Workshop and Product Exposition being held April 22-24, 2009 in Madrid, Spain. This Workshop will bring together wireless telecommunications equipment manufacturers (TEMs) with their customers and suppliers to explore the evolution of reconfigurable radio over the next several years.

SDR Forum Working Meeting – January 26-30 in San Diego, California

The SDR Forum will hold a working meeting on January 26 to 30 at the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (Calit2) . This meeting represents the 61st General Meeting of the Forum and will comprise working sessions advancing the SDR Forum’s 2009 operations plan in support of the commercial, public safety, avionics, and international tactical radio communities.

Registration is now open for this meeting and an agenda and project list have been posted.

This meeting is sponsored by and co-located with the JTRS Science and Technology Forum (JSTeF).

2008 Software Defined Radio Technical Conference and Product Exposition

SDR'08, held in Washington, D.C. on October 26-30, featured over 30 technical sessions and 10 tutorials, with workshops and panels focused on market adoption of next generation radio technologies and the regulatory landscape under which they will operate.
